Reading Workshop

This week in Reading Workshop we are reviewing the routines that happen each day during our four rotations. In addition, we are focusing on independence! This week we have reviewed what expectations are for Word Work and KidBlog. In addition, we have learned how to write a quality comment: make a connection, leave a compliment, ask a question and/or add new information. Lastly, I am no longer assigning guided groups with a number of pages that they need to read each day. Instead, students are coming together as a group to agree on how many pages they can read as a group. It has been wonderful to see students collaborating and making these decisions as a group!
