Dawn Bissonnette (Mrs. Bissonnette)
I have been in Colchester for many years. I taught third grade at MBS as well as first grade and multi-age here at PPS. The great thing about so many changes is the fun experiences of learning new things.
In my spare time I enjoy many different hobbies including biking, skiing, walking, sewing, and baking breads! I also love spending time with my family. I have 2 grandchildren that keep me moving and busy!

Natalie LaRose (Ms. LaRose)
The 2020 - 2021 school year will be my ninth year teaching 2nd grade at Porters Point School. I originally graduated from Saint Michael's College (SMC) with a Business Degree. Knowing that my real passion in life was education, I subsequently returned to SMC to do my graduate work for my Elementary Teaching Licensure. In the summer of 2015 I obtained my Masters in Special Education from SMC.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my friends and helping out at our families basketball camp in the summer. I also enjoy baking, spinning, working in my family garden and hiking.

Kelly Ryan (Mrs. Ryan)
My husband and I have two adventurous boys, ages three and 7 months and a golden retriever named Brewer. When I am not in school or keeping up with my boys, I love playing field hockey and reading books in the sunshine.
I graduated from Saint Michael’s College with an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and American Studies, as well as a Master’s degree in Reading with a Literacy Specialist endorsement. This is my third year teaching second grade at Porters Point. Previously, I taught kindergarten for eight years. Ironically, over a decade ago I began my teaching adventure as a Student Teacher and Long Term Sub at Porters Point in the exact same second grade classroom that I am working in now!

Daniel Shepherd (Mr. Shepherd)
Hello, my name is Mr. Shepherd and I have taught at Porters Point School for many years (too many to count). I have two boys who are grown and exploring the world!
In my spare time I enjoy fishing, playing pickleball and lacrosse. In the summer you can find me outside, enjoying all that Vermont has to offer.
