Thanking Those Who Are Serving

Before vacation each of the four 2nd grade classrooms reflected on how we could thank those who are currently serving to protect our country. In room 6 we talked about how Maggie’s uncle, Ms. Erin’s brother and Ms. Colleen’s brothers are all currently serving in the military. In addition, Ms. Colleen’s sister recently arrived home. Students brainstormed ways we could thank those serving and we all agreed on writing letters and making cards! Below are some photographs from the activity.
