SWR Week 2: Hard and Soft G and C

This week our SWR (spelling, writing, reading) skill focuses on hard and soft letters (particularly the letter g and c) We learned that a soft c takes the sound of the letter s and a hard c takes the sound of the letter k. A soft g takes the sound of the letter j and a hard g takes the sound of the letter g. During our lesson we sorted various words based on if they had a hard or soft letter.
