During math yesterday we learned that numbers can be named in many different ways. We reviewed number words, wrote various numbers on our white boards and then wrote as many different names for the number 8 as possible. After reviewing all the possible names for 8 we created an anchor chart to help us brainstorm all the different names for the number 12. Below is our anchor chart and some of our great thinking during independent practice time!
