This week in SWR we are learning about the digraphs –sh,
-wh, -th and –ch. They are also called
the H Brothers.
In class on Monday we
learned how a digraph is two letters that make one sound.
We brainstormed words that have the –sh digraph in them.
We matched words that started with the –wh digraph to the
correct picture.
We brainstormed more words that have the –th digraph in them
(also known as the naught H digraph, because you have to stick out your tongue
to say this digraph)!
We then circled pictures that represented words with the –ch
digraph.
