Closing Thoughts and Reminders

I want to thank all of you for making my first year at Porters Point a wonderful one.  The support I received from parents and the community throughout the school year was remarkable, thank you very much for all that you have done for me!

I have spoken with students about the importance of reading over the summer for 20 minutes a day.  If you would like a list of books at your child’s independent reading level please email me.  I also have a list of Read Aloud books that students enjoy having read to them.  If you would like a copy of that list please email me.

Students will have access to their KidBlog, Raz-Kids, XtraMath and any other accounts they accessed in 2^nd grade thru August 15^th.  Once I disable students KidBlog accounts students will not longer to able to access their blog.  If you would like the link to their account so you can refer back to their 2^nd grade blog as the years go on, I can email that to you as well. Student’s g-mail accounts will continue with them throughout their time within the CSD.

Lastly, if you haven’t completed the Year End Survey I would really appreciate it if you could do so by Monday, June 17^th.  Thank you!
